In the seventeenth century the Sun King founded the Academy of Music and Dance at Versailles. In June 2013 the company Malandain Biarritz Ballet presents its latest challenge right there; choreography with live music performed by the Symphony Orchestra of Euskadi. Two neighboring countries, two Basque towns and two artistic disciplines come together in a common cultural project: Sergey Prokofiev's Cinderella. 

 

This is an adventure following the routine of creating a ballet company and symphony from within, from the unknown to the viewer side, the human side. Thus sail the dreams, concerns and difficulties of these artists whose work we transmit memorable emotions. 

 

“Notes in Motion” is about artistic creation, efforts, sacrifices and the desire of the artists to improve in order to achieve their goal.
